My Experience at Bryan Johnson’s Don’t Die Summit

Screenshot

When I first heard about the Don’t Die Summit, it immediately caught my attention. If you’re familiar with Bryan Johnson, you know he’s someone who takes health seriously. I’ve followed his Blueprint Protocol journey closely, his relentless dedication to reverse aging, his commitment to tracking biomarkers, and the way he lives according to precise measurements of his body’s health. From blueprint meals to his famed supplement stack, Bryan’s work is nothing short of extraordinary, and I knew this summit would be packed with exciting insights and cutting-edge therapies.

Before the summit, I was in Arizona speaking at Bio Biz Bash. It was an incredible experience, but in the back of my mind, I couldn’t stop thinking about the Don’t Die Summit. As luck would have it, my friend Alina Rui Su, co-founder of Generation Lab, mentioned she’d be speaking at the summit in San Francisco. When she invited me to fly out and support her I booked my ticket right away!

It all happened so fast, one minute I was on stage in Arizona, and the next, I was catching a 6 am flight out of Phoenix. I landed in San Francisco at 10 am, just in time to dive into the action. And even though I was running on pure adrenaline from barely sleeping the night before, I couldn’t wait to immerse myself in the summit.

Arriving at the Venue There Was so Much Energy in the Air

The summit was held at the pier in San Francisco, a gorgeous open warehouse-style space right by the water. As soon as I stepped inside, I felt it, the energy was electric. The crowd was vibrant, young, and enthusiastic, with most attendees in their 20s to mid-30s, people who had flown in from all over the country, New York, Miami, and beyond. There were tech enthusiasts, wellness advocates, biohackers, and scientists, all coming together to explore the future of aging and longevity.

There was an atmosphere of optimism and curiosity, everyone seemed excited to engage with new ideas, discover cutting-edge technologies, and learn from the top minds in health and science. You could tell that people were genuinely passionate about Bryan Johnson’s vision and eager to implement what they learned to improve their lives. It was refreshing to be surrounded by people who were just as obsessed with health optimization as I am.

One of the things I found out later was that the event actually started with a rave at 7 am—yes, a rave! There was a live DJ, and people were dancing, laughing, and having a blast to kick off the day. How perfect, right? Who says wellness can’t be fun? I mean, what better way to energize your cells and boost your mood than by starting the day with a dance party? Unfortunately, I missed the rave but the fact that they kicked off the summit with a full-on dance session gives you a glimpse of just how different this event was!

Who is Bryan Johnson? The Man Behind the Longevity Blueprint

Meeting Bryan Johnson in person at the Don’t Die Summit was amazing. I’ve followed his story for years, and seeing him in real life only deepened my appreciation for everything he represents.

This isn’t just a guy dabbling in wellness or riding the wave of health trends, Bryan Johnson is living proof of what’s possible to achieve when you combine science, discipline, and a relentless commitment to living better.

Bryan first made a name for himself in the tech world when he sold Braintree to PayPal for $800 million back in 2013. But instead of kicking back and enjoying early retirement, he set his sights on something far more ambitious: improving the future of humanity. He founded OS Fund, an investment firm backing companies at the forefront of science and technology. Then, after years of research and personal exploration, Bryan launched Blueprint, a data-driven health protocol designed to slow down, and even reverse, aging. His protocol tracks every aspect of his body, from his biological age to the health of his liver, heart, and skin, with the goal of keeping every organ functioning as if it belonged to a 26-year-old.

Speakers, Topics and Discussions

What’s truly extraordinary about Bryan is how he lives out everything he advocates. He’s turned himself into a walking experiment, tracking biomarkers, optimizing his diet, and using cutting-edge therapies to stay at his peak. His daily supplement stack, which includes things like nutty pudding and plasma-based treatments, isn’t just theoretical or marketing bluff, it’s what he does and consumes every day. And he doesn’t stop at just maintaining his health, his mission is to reverse the effects of aging entirely. Through careful measurement and precise protocols, Bryan is leading the charge toward a future where longer, healthier lives are within reach for everyone.

What makes Bryan’s approach so powerful is his transparency and accessibility. He openly shares his personal data, his successes, and even his setbacks, inviting others to join him in this journey toward optimal health. His Blueprint Protocol isn’t just about him, it’s about empowering others to take control of their health through measurement and optimization.

At the summit, I saw firsthand how his vision has created a community of like-minded individuals, all striving for better health and longer lifespans. His philosophy resonates with people from all walks of life, whether you’re a biohacker, a student, or someone just beginning your wellness journey, there’s space for you in this movement.

Another thing that stood out to me was how genuine and accessible Bryan was throughout the event. This wasn’t a headliner hiding backstage, only appearing for a speech or a photo op. Bryan was everywhere, walking around the venue, chatting with attendees, answering questions, and sharing insights. He made time for everyone who wanted to talk to him. It didn’t matter if it was a quick hello or a deeper conversation.

Whether you were a CEO, a student, or someone curious about optimizing their biological age, Bryan made you feel welcome.

Presenting with Alina Rui Su from Generation Lab

Being on stage with at the Don’t Die Summit was an absolute thrill! My friend Alina Rui Su from Generation Lab, had invited me to support her during her presentation. Alina is a brilliant mind, passionate about using data and epigenetics to slow down aging and improve health.

Generation Lab’s focus is on personalized health insights, using epigenetic testing to measure the biological age of 19 different organs and systems. The lab offers actionable plans to reverse aging and prevent disease, tailoring everything based on an individual’s unique biomarkers. This isn’t just about a single number that tells you your biological age, it’s a comprehensive look at your body’s performance, showing where you’re aging faster and where you’re doing well. And they go beyond measurement, Generation Lab also provides specific recommendations and lifestyle adjustments to help you get back on track and improve your health trajectory.

Alina’s presentation was incredible, she broke down the importance of epigenetic testing, explaining how understanding biological age can reveal things like early inflammation, organ health, and cognitive function. She also talked about “biological noise”, the small disruptions in our system that can accumulate and accelerate aging if left unchecked. The whole crowd was captivated as she explained how their SystemAge test could help people measure and manage these issues, offering a path to better health and a longer life.

When it was my turn to take the stage, I shared my personal story of how Generation Lab’s testing impacted my health. I explained how it gave me insights into hidden inflammation, something that often goes unnoticed until it leads to more serious issues. I also emphasized the importance of identifying inflammation before it develops into disease. Inflammation is often the first red flag long before we notice symptoms. If we can tackle it early, we can prevent a lot of future health problems.

The audience’s response was beyond anything I expected. After our presentation, people flooded their table, eager to learn more and get tested. Within just two hours, we sold 400 tests. People were genuinely excited to understand their biological age and take action! It was amazing to witness that kind of energy and eagerness.

I’ve been to many conferences before, but the atmosphere here was different, people weren’t just passively listening, they were actively participating, asking questions, and making connections between what they learned and how it could apply to their own lives. It felt incredibly rewarding to know that our talk made a real impact, sparking curiosity and action in so many people.

The Vendors: Exploring Cutting-Edge Health Innovations

There weren’t too many vendors at this event, every booth felt carefully curated and offered something innovative that aligned with Bryan Johnson’s philosophy of longevity, optimization, and health.

One of the first things I tried was Bryan’s infamous snake olive oil. Now, if you know anything about Bryan Johnson’s Blueprint Protocol, you know that olive oil is a key part of his diet. His olive oil is designed to be taken like a daily supplement, two tablespoons on an empty stomach. I took a shot, and honestly, it was surprisingly good!

The next stop was the Blueprint food samples, there was the nutty pudding, a creamy, plant-based snack that packed a punch with healthy fats and nutrients, and some delicious vegetarian meals that were perfectly aligned with Bryan’s super veggie-heavy diet. Everything tasted fresh and you could see how Bryan’s commitment to optimal living extended even to the meals he promotes.

I also spent some time browsing the booths showcasing cutting-edge technologies and services. It was exciting to see Generation Lab front and center, showcasing the SystemAge test that I had talked about on stage with Alina.

Then there was Extension Health, a company offering advanced diagnostics like VO2 max, metabolic rate testing, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Their holistic approach to health optimization felt very much in line with Bryan Johnson’s philosophy—measure, optimize, and stay ahead of disease. Their services appealed to a wide range of attendees, from athletes to tech professionals looking to peak in performance and longevity.

I was particularly curious about the Carol Bike, a bike designed to maximize fitness in the shortest amount of time possible. It promised to optimize cardio performance with just eight minutes of exercise! As someone who’s always looking for efficient ways to stay healthy, I made a mental note to give it a try later. I love how these companies are reimagining wellness, not just making things healthier, but smarter.

And then there was PNOĒ, one of the most popular booths. PNOĒ offers metabolic breath analysis that measures VO2 max, energy needs, and biological age in under 10 minutes, non-invasively, without any lab work. The line for their booth was packed all day. It felt like everyone at the summit wanted to get their VO2 max and biological age measured. I was really hoping to try it out myself, but the line was so long I couldn’t squeeze it in.

Unlimited Food and Drinks

One of the standout features of the Don’t Die Summit, and something I wasn’t expecting, was the sheer amount of healthy food and drinks available for free. Now, if you’ve been to as many conferences as I have, you know that food is usually either an afterthought or wildly overpriced. But not here. At Bryan Johnson’s summit, every detail was meticulously planned, and that included the food.

The event offered a variety of beautifully packaged salads, snacks, and desserts, all thoughtfully curated to align with Bryan’s health philosophy. I remember grabbing a few salads, each one neatly packed in sustainable containers, featuring a rainbow of vegetables, quinoa, and other superfoods. There were little energy bites, plant-based treats, and even healthy desserts that tasted so good you’d forget they were good for you. It felt like everything I ate that day was part of a wellness plan, as if every bite was designed to contribute to my healthspan.

There were also stations with coffee and tea, which kept everyone energized throughout the day. I’m usually pretty picky about coffee, but the ones they served here were smooth, organic, and just the right level of strong. They also had adaptogenic teas and herbal blends that were perfect for anyone needing a little boost without the caffeine crash.

Why I Loved the Don’t Die Summit

Unfortunately, I had to catch a 5 p.m flight, which meant leaving before the exclusive evening gathering with Bryan Johnson and the speakers. While I would’ve loved to stay longer and connect further, I left feeling energized by the experience.  The Don’t Die Summit wasn’t just another conference, it was a carefully crafted experience that brought together science, technology, wellness, and joy. From the engaging talks and interactive vendors to the healthy food and spontaneous conversations, every part of the event felt intentional. The goal wasn’t just to deliver information, it was to immerse us in an atmosphere where wellness felt alive and attainable.

What made the summit truly exceptional was the sense of community. The attendees weren’t just there to observe, they were active participants, united by a shared commitment to health optimization and longer life. Bryan Johnson’s followers are not just fans, they’re enthusiastic advocates of his mission.

The summit’s blend of serious science and lighthearted fun gave it a vibrancy that I haven’t experienced at other events. Starting the day with a morning rave was the perfect symbol of this balance, reminding us that longevity isn’t just about therapies and metrics, it’s about joy, movement, and connection too. It was a refreshing take on wellness, combining the cutting-edge technologies of tomorrow with the simple pleasures of today.

By the time I left, I wasn’t just carrying new insights and tools for my health, I felt like I’d been part of something bigger, a movement with the potential to transform how we approach longevity.

Conclusion

I believe that the Don’t Die Summit is on its way to becoming one of the most influential events in the wellness space. The excitement I witnessed this year felt like just the beginning. As more people become interested in health optimization and the role of science and technology in extending lifespan, this summit will continue to grow, attracting even more innovators, enthusiasts, and researchers.

There’s something truly powerful about being surrounded by people who are committed to longevity and wellness, not just for themselves but for humanity as a whole. We’re not alone in this journey, there are so many others out there exploring, experimenting, and working toward the same goal of living longer, healthier lives.

Next year, I’m definitely making it to the 7 am rave—no excuses! It feels like the perfect way to start a day dedicated to longevity and optimal health. After all, if we’re going to live longer, we might as well dance our way into the future, right?

If you care about your health, longevity, and the exciting possibilities ahead, the Don’t Die Summit is something you absolutely shouldn’t miss. So mark your calendar and join us next time! I promise, it’ll be worth every second.
